Regional Distribution Center — Pick Aisles & Battery Charge

Project narrative

The owner standardized on high-build epoxy across its DFW footprint after losing two coatings on the prior facility within five years to electric-forklift tire abrasion. We profiled the entire slab to CSP-4 with steel shot-blast, primed, then applied a 30-mil pigmented epoxy build.

Battery-charge bays received an extra layer of novolac epoxy with broadcast aluminum-oxide for sulfuric-acid resistance and slip rating. Aisle striping and pedestrian walkways were integrated into the pour, eliminating a separate striping subcontractor.

We coordinated the 86,000 sq ft pour around a live distribution operation — sequenced in 10,000 sq ft cells, each completed and back in service within 72 hours.
