Epoxy Terrazzo Installation

Poured-in-place 3/8" epoxy terrazzo for commercial projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Seamless, antimicrobial, infinitely customizable, and engineered to outlast the building it's installed in.

What it is

A monolithic 3/8" composite floor.

Epoxy terrazzo is a two-component thermoset resin matrix filled with decorative aggregate (marble, glass, mother-of-pearl, granite) poured into divider-strip panels over a primed concrete substrate.

Once cured, it's diamond-ground to expose the aggregate, grouted, and polished to the specified finish — from 80-grit honed to a 1500-grit mirror. The result is a seamless, antimicrobial, non-porous surface with the lowest life-cycle cost in commercial hard-surface flooring.

  • Seamless — no grout lines, no joints to fail
  • Antimicrobial and non-porous — meets infection control protocols
  • Custom color matched to any brand or design palette
  • Contributes to LEED MR and IEQ credits

Aggregate options

The aggregate is the design.

Over 200 blends in our sample library — and unlimited custom combinations. The blend you specify defines the floor's color, scale, and visual rhythm.

Marble

Classic chip — white, gray, beige, green, rose

Recycled Glass

LEED MR credit — sustainable, vivid color

Mother of Pearl

Iridescent, premium hospitality + retail

Granite

Hard, dark, dramatic — high-traffic durability

Onyx & Quartz

Translucent specialty aggregates

Custom Inclusions

Coins, logos, brand-color resin chips

Divider strip systems

Dividers do the design work and the structural work.

Divider strips define the panel pattern, isolate thermal movement, and carry the color transitions. Spec is set on the bid drawings.

FAQ

Questions architects and GCs ask first.

How much does epoxy terrazzo cost per square foot in DFW?

+

DFW commercial epoxy terrazzo typically runs $40–$70 per square foot installed for standard NTMA systems, depending on aggregate selection, divider complexity, substrate condition, and project size. Custom medallions, mother-of-pearl, and CNC inlays move that range upward. We provide firm bids inside 5 business days from a complete spec.

What's the lead time from bid award to pour?

+

Standard projects: 4–6 weeks from award to substrate readiness, plus 5–10 working days on-site per 5,000 sq ft once the substrate is ready and divider layout is approved. Custom dividers and special aggregates can add 2–3 weeks for fabrication.

How does epoxy terrazzo compare to cementitious terrazzo?

+

Epoxy systems are 3/8" thick (vs. 1-1/2"+ for cementitious), cure faster, accept brighter pigments, and have higher compressive and tensile strength. Cementitious terrazzo is still appropriate for some exterior and historic-replication work, but epoxy is the modern commercial standard for interior applications.

Does epoxy terrazzo contribute to LEED?

+

Yes — epoxy terrazzo can contribute to MR (Materials & Resources) credits via recycled glass and post-industrial aggregate content, and to IEQ (Indoor Environmental Quality) credits via low-VOC resin formulations. We provide full LEED documentation packages on request.

Can you match an existing terrazzo floor for an addition or repair?

+

Yes. We maintain a sample library of over 200 aggregate blends and routinely color-match existing floors for additions and restoration scopes. Bring us a 6" × 6" cutout from the existing floor and we'll return a side-by-side sample within 2 weeks.

Ready to spec it?

Send the spec, the drawings, and the schedule. We'll send back samples, a bid, and a partner who'll be on your jobsite when they said they would.
