9,200 sq ft of design-forward epoxy terrazzo with a honed (matte) finish and an inlaid brand logo at the porte-cochère threshold.
Project narrative
Gensler's design specified a deep charcoal field with cool-white marble chips and selective black-granite drama at circulation paths. The brand logo at the front-door threshold required custom CNC-cut zinc divider strip and three pours of differing aggregate to register cleanly.
We honed rather than high-polished the final surface at the owner's request — softer light reflection, less glare for evening service, and easier slip-resistance compliance for the hotel's wet-zone bar transition.
The work was completed inside a 14-day window between the GC's drywall finish and millwork installation, with zero punch-list callbacks at substantial completion.
